Outside of Live Events, the game does not have significant downward time pressure.
Players can complete their goals at their own pace.

explore ideas is to draw!
Working with game designers, we got to explore the conceptual what we wanted the feature to look like. We also wanted to meet the business goals, so we made sure we also gave thought into create the best experience for players.

From the sketches, it was best to create a more ‘formal’ flow chart to show the direction we wanted.
prototypes

We created a bunch of prototypes where we were able to use with our research teams. We used the prototype for a conceptual and usability test. We were able to visualize a lot of ideas where we could also pitch to engineers to figure out tech constraints and work arounds.
UI MOCKS
Working with UI designers, we wanted to create a visual hierarchy where players can identify with. Depending on the Sim player’s type (Builder, Stylist, Storytellers), we wanted to create a unique but similar experience while playing this feature.
Motion Capturing
My Dance Moves
I got to work with the animation team to figure out best celebration states. I got to show off some dance moves to create different states for our character. Some of animations actually made it into the live game.
